Sometimes they surprise and delight me!

I love painting in the studio.. I put on my music choice of the day, depending on my mood it can be Classical, Jonie Mitchell, Nora Jones or Sting...
I can finish working on a plein air landscape or start from scratch at my own pace which differs from time and weather changes in plein air.

Just amazing how my art has changed in the past year and half! Flowing pieces, colors melting into each other. Having to let go of the finished piece until its dry. That's where the painting says done. Love it and letting go, no attachment is key to this way of painting!

These images are from deep within me. Sometimes I dream of them and work from there and other times the image emerges from inside in a spontaneous painting . the painting process is quick with lots of energy being used! Sometimes I need a nap after these sessions.
