I spent a couple hours preparing encaustic wax in the studio last week. Built up a couple layers on two pieces so far!

Very exciting to start flowing again! I was preparing for a 3 month show and hung that on Saturday the 3rd of February.

All in all I got all my pieces up and had a little time to create, which is my favorite thing to do!

So good to begin painting again felt great and then Super Bowl happened! Our Eagles won the Super Bowl!!!

What a game, what a game! Talk about flowing, they were dominating that game and going up and down that

field like no other game I've ever seen! Foles touchdown was amazing and a first in a Super Bowl!

(At least that is what I am being told).

All that excitement , celebrating and now the parade has me side tracked in a most good way.

I am going out to enjoy Philadelphia's Super Bowl Parade tomorrow with friends and then hitting the studio on the weekend!

I hope you take the time out to enjoy the good things that life brings and know that its ok to do so

without the guilt. I feel it feeds our creativity and fills our cup back up so we can eventually get back to painting!
