Feeding Your Artful Self

Taking a class in a medium you have wanted to try or never would have dreamed of trying is a great way to
"Open up" to more creative energy.
Allowing yourself the time, space and childlike attitude will help you get out of your way and get the most of your workshop/ class.
You'll be pleasantly surprised at how you managed this experience with your "new" friend or medium. Go ahead, make friends with it!
Ask it what it wants or needs to express YOUR creative self at this moment.
Being open to it and not comparing it to ANYTHING you've ever done, helps you flow with it and allows self expression to show and play! The possibilities in this state of awareness and openness can be endless and unassuming ! All of a sudden you stand Back and you wonder how, what or who just painted , wrote, composed or sculpted that piece?!
In this moment of pure flow and openness anything can show up on the page , canvas or clay and that can lead you to other possible
"Pieces" of work.
So give yourself permission to step out of your box into taking a chance to try something new! Who knows where it can lead you?!
Happy Painting and Creating! ML

I loved it! I think you are a bit like me, in that we both love our exclamation points! Because we go through life in a constant sate of amazement! :)

Love ya! So glad you stopped in today, and that you had fun at your workshop.
